Alloy casing cleaning
Cleaning the alloy engine casings on my 900A4 , I have done the cam cover with gunk then soap and water then a coating of Fertan H102 Aluminium Cleaner then Solvol Autosol and wire wool , them final polish with Solvol only. Trouble is there are still blackish markings etch on the alloy, I am thinkin...

Had a look at options to clean the carb bodies, bought this from Frost Restorations Fertan Aluminuim Cleaner 1 Ltr , https://www.frost.co.uk/frost-search/?q=fertan+ and I am very impressed. Brushed it on and washed off again with a soft brush, would have been a whole lot easier with the carbs stripe...

No problem , its cheap nylon jets I had ( been in for years !!!)
Now with genuine Mikuni parts it might make a difference but deffo 120's .

Looks like a thorough rebuild. Can I please just check / confirm pic.4 shows a packet marked 4 x 120.... Are you running 120 Main jets ? and 17.5 pilots ?
