Four and a half years later, some progress. hillbilly, I ended up extending the kitchen in my house so the bike ended up in there for a while and then in storage. Anyhow, the problems now solved because I've now got a place from where no one can ever make me move my bikes or better still disturb me ...

Thanks for the comments. Regarding DVLA, I was under the impression that it was the frame number that mattered, not the engine number. The frame number is correct for a Z900 A4 and you can see that the bike is clearly an A4 from all the details. I have the certificate showing that the importer paid...

I have an oil cooler and the fittings which I took off my z900. Proper period aftermarket 70's bit - Degale I think, Send me a pm and I will send pics. asking £30 plus postage for the lot.
