Quick bit of advice from you knowledgeable chaps,when to put the decals on.This is going on a zephyr 1100 ( wire wheels ) choices are after base coat before lacquer,couple of coats of lacquer then apply decals with a couple of lacquer after or completely finish tank then apply

I reconnected the spliced leads to the horn,capped the live and have discarded,hopefully that’s all it was !!!!

Z900 idiot lights
I have an idiot light cluster where the writing is on the surface and the letters have worn off!! Is this a common problem and is there a solution? My Z650 idiot lights the writing is below the surface so at the moment I have changed them over

Thanks for your help warren,found 4 original needles which should solve the problem,when it’s up and running might reduce the main jet size(it used to run a bit rich)
