Thanks Warrren,
That is exactly how my 4 plugs look too.
I only use E5 fuel.
Thought I was going mad, but obviously its just the way these carbs / bikes run.
Appreciate your help as ever.

BS34 KZ1000 Carbs. Rich
I am running a 1981 KZ1000 CSR with BS34 Carbs. Bike is 100% standard other than a Delkevic 4 into 1 which runs on standard jetting. Standard airbox with standard air filter. Carbs are 100% cleaned and refurbished with all standard jets. Float heights spot on by the manual and fluid heights spot on ...

Re: Sea Foam ?
It depends how "stuck" they are. Remove spark plugs. Pour the MMO into each cylinder (use a syringe or pipe with a funnel) Leave at least 24 hours to soak through. Alternatively you can add it to petrol if bike is running. I bought a Z1300 engine that had not been run for years and had no ...

Re: Sea Foam ?
Marvel Mystery Oil works very very well for releasing piston rings.
I have used it with success on numerous bikes in the past.

Z1000 J/K/M Headers Wanted
Looking for a set of 4 chrome or S/S header pipes for a 1981 / 82 Z/KZ1000 J/K/M.
Ideally with collectors as I eventually want a 4 into 2 system using short silencers, so cannot use headers from a 4 into 1 system unless they are straight type.
Please PM me if you can help

Dyna Coils and Leads ???
For a 1981 KZ1000 J/K/M Motor.
Are Dyna Coils and HT Leads worth the expense or not ?
Just trying to make the bike run as well as possible, not anything else.
What OHM rating is best ?
Thanks.

Re: ZRX1200R oil and temp lights.
I had the same fault on one of my ZRX1200R.
Check the block connectors from the clocks.
It was one of the pins had become slightly corroded.
A brief clean and WD40 sorted it.

Re: Tank Hole
Thanks R3sc I agree with you there, but I have now removed the paint on a larger area around the hole and the steel is not showing any other signs of other holes or damage, so I intend to lightly centre punch the hole back and fill with a petrol resistant filler and watch it for a month or so before...
