Thanks for the replies. I took it for a short ride last week and it would run well up to about 3500 rpm the popping away and struggling to pull at all. I'll try giving the carbs a good clean then start the process again.

Hi All. I've just joined the club and thought it best to introduce myself and bike. I bought this mainly original 1978 KZ100 A2 at auction a couple of months ago. It's showing just over 31000 miles but who knows if that is correct. I intend to keep it original and add/change parts if I can find them...
