Thanks chaps. So what would be the largest size , not using an offset sprocket. Sorry for silly questions.

Kz1000 tyre size

Having the wheels rebuilt and wondering about increasing the width of rear. Has anyone done this to fit into a Metmachex swingarm. I realise that this means a new rim but best choice please allowing for chain run as well. Thanks.

Re: kz1000 build

Bracing was considered but i am an old fart now so a bit more cautious how I will ride . Been 4 years since Ive been on a bike so sensible head will prevail. Metmachex swing arm ready to go in.

Re: kz1000 build

Period performance. The sort of stuff we used to do back in the seventies. Lots of stainless, Harris, Seat, oil cooler, to name a few.

kz1000 build

Ground up build of a slightly knackered z1000. Intention is to build to remind me of my youth, which was some time ago, to what I would call old school modified. Period parts to be sourced.

Hiya all. New member from sunny Devon. Z1000 project on the build at the moment. In many bits at the moment. Non standard as trying to relive my youth so typical rebuild with period extras. Some parts finding hard to source but will get there.
