What about the age of the tyre? I bought a Z1 last year, I didn't know the history but the tyres looked good, by this I meant lots of tread. After about 10 months of low usage I checked the tyres and found that the rear had started to come apart. Still lots of tread but the rubber was separating fro...

Thanks Phil for taking the time to do this, really appreciate it. I think my problem is the joints for bolts (22) are tearing. So I can now use your diagram to strip it down and take a closer look.

Z900 Main Stand

Started to have trouble getting the Z900 off the main stand after refilling at the gas station. Had a close look and the pivot point on the frame and noticed the joints cracking. Does anyone have a diagram of that area?

Just looking for inspiration for a second paint set for the green Z900, never really liked the old brown paint scheme from kwackers but seeing your incredible zed has made me think again. Well done, that's an excellent finished project. Any chance on letting on what the paint code is?

My A4 occasionally is a bugger to start. Once I replace the plugs she starts fine. One time after a week or so of not being used I couldn't get the ol' girl to start, took a plug out and it was dry. I had to use a big pair of stilsons to get the sump plug out!! Now it's always on stand by when I do my oil change!! Word of warning though.. because your generally laying down beside the zed make sure someone is standing by so you don't pull the wrench so hard that you pull bike on top of you

Throttle cables

Where is the best place to get a pair of Throttle cables?
I noticed some of fleaBay but they don't state if they are the push or pull or are they all the same now? Any help always appreciated.

Bill

ive done some switches myself, why not get a set from zpower, then like you say refurb at your own pace. after you have done, sell the zpower ones on ebay, knowing the way ebay works, you will make money on the zpower ones anyway. Absolutely agree with Mick, I did just that and was quite pleased wi...
