easy way build it up find a engine within 100 of the frame No to complete working bike insure on frame No and take it to a place like where kit cars built at home are inspected and u get a ticket of road worthiness u will end up with a new reg say 2025 OR Q PLATE not upto latest on it just know it c...

it wont work at all date of manufacture is not date of registration i have a GERMAN z1r damaged frame at home and know all z1r bikes were manufactured and out of the factory by end of DEC 77 but was not registered for the road in germany till feb 80 so applying to kawasaki would give it a 77 reg no ...

that's part of frame and do's not have a part No though a chap on ebay makes them and toon at the z1r owners register has made one or 2 so can b bought !! make sure the mounts for the cover is correct or the seat lock opening in the cover don't line up with the lock seen it happen ok

Yes you’re correct the front seat mounts and the left hand pillion peg mount I’m in the same boat, I’m missing seat brackets, turn signal ears and the seat latch on one of my frames along with the light bracket.
