they can be run without, the main reason they're liking rocking horse crap is because people used to throw them away to make room under their seat for gloves etc.

ah, i see. read the first few pages while doing it and tbh only scanned the last couple of pages to see the finished bike. i think if i had gone to his level of detail though with the nuts n bolts etc, id have probably gone the whole hog and got my chrome looking the dogs only my preference of course
