Re: Offset gearbox sprocket

Scott, it may be worth seeing if anyone else needs one, as the prices will tumble with Talon, even with an order of just two or three.
Piggy organised a decent sized 'batch' for the kickstart motors a few years back, the savings were substantial.

Re: Offset gearbox sprocket

Scott, I take back the 38t rear, just checked my Z900 project and that has a 42t rear, probably still a little under geared. I do have a 38 & a 40t rear sprocket you can borrow if you want, but it's probably best to start large and work down. I run a GSXR 750 SRAD swinger & I had a few links...

Re: Offset gearbox sprocket

Scott, 19t is the biggest 530 you'll get on the front & you'll need that to help your chain clear the bulkier swinger, especially if it's pushed down (longer shocks) to compensate for the smaller diameter wheels. 5/8th is the max offset before the chain starts grinding away the inside of frame a...

Re: Offset gearbox sprocket

Scott,

Are you sure you want 16 tooth with 530 chain? What size wheels are you fitting?

Re: Gpz1100b1 rear sets

Scott, Been digging through some old pics, a lot seem to have got lost on me old lap top & photobastardbucket has encrypted all me pics so I can't copy 'em back. Found this one of an early Z1000 project. You can just see the tab welded to the frame rail & at that point undrilled (prob...

Re: Gpz1100b1 rear sets

These are the rear pegs Chris had. They could be an option if we knew what they were off. If anybody recognises them that would be a great help as I could do with some also. I'm a tight git and would prefer the buy this type off ebay option  2902AE18-F67F-4F90-91E1-7412AF4C4968.jpeg Gus A lot ...
