There are two of em. One on No4 carb and one on No2.

I've only had the bike 12 years I guess I should know by now.

The ones that hold the camshaft bearings caps down.

Not the chrome cam cover bolts.

What are the spec of the cam cap bolts please ? I think someone has put cam cover bolts in mine

M6 x 1 x 45 ? 8.8 or 10.9 tensile ?

I've ordered some Lumiweld. It does not appear to be leaking so I'll just aim to make it stable. Current engine number is KZTAE-018387. I'll try and get some pictures of the damage but it's right next to where the oil pump outlet mates to the casing. It looks like someone has potentially but too long a bolt in the engine-frame mount that is right next to it. There is a plug there that banks off...

A per the title, can you mix top and bottom engine casings on the same generation of engine ?
