The paintwork looks to be original, but not to this bike. There is a couple of very small scratches on the left hand side just below the emblem. Side panels are ok. Tail piece has one leg broken off, right hand side from in front of the rear shock. So not mint. Maybe possible to touch in the tank. h...

PJ I was the one who mentioned it as being a scam. This bike took me 2 months of negotiations to buy. I am really tempted to do a custom paint job on this bike - myself. But I am still deliberating on what to do. Only time will tell, I have seen a Z1 with a flaming tank, side panels and tail piece. ...

Z1B - 1975

Recently bought Z1B. Was running rough since the photos were taken - Bike has had a new set of carbs fitted. - New DYNA S ignition, - Taylor leads, and a set of DYNA coils. Tank, side panels and tail piece.

I am looking for a paint set, either Blue or Candy red for a 1975 Z1B, just bought.
I am also looking for a set of 4 -4 exhausts.

z1 4-4 exhausts

Require a set of 4 -4 exhausts for a 1975 Z1B, just bought.
Also require a paint set, either Blue or Candy red.

Auction at Bonhams on saturday has a Z1A, 1974 up for auction. LOT 224. (For link go to "For Sale" part of forum).

Though have been told by "EAST LONDON", engine number is for a Z900 A4.

Mikuni RS38 Flat slides

I have a set of 38m Mikuni Flat slides, which according to Mikuni are useable on a Z1000 A2, mine has a WISECO 1075 kit fitted.

Is this a good idea ? Are there any benefits to fitting them ?

Z1000A2 - WISECO 1075 PISTON KIT

What is the recommended running in mileage for running in the pistons.

Also, what is recommended main jet sizes?
Gas flowed head,
Standard cams at present. Intend to fit a set of Kent cams, once engine run in.
28mm Smoothbores.
Harris 4 into 1.
K&N Air filter in standard air box.
