I put alloy wheels onto my A1, the only spacer that was different was the one in the picture that’s nearest the nut, it’s a bit smaller, also needed a different sprocket carrier for alloy wheels. Just measured the Z1000A2 original rear disc - 290mm diameter x 6.6mm thick. According to Dave Marsden's Original Z1, Z900 & KZ900 book , which I read last night - The Z900 Ltd got a smaller rear disc - 278mm diameter. link to Z900 ltd rear disc on ebay - description states 280mm diameter. https...

The Engine and Frame numbers being around 200 apart is acceptable. Therefore a dating certificate from Kawasaki uk should not be a problem.

The z1000st has a wider swing arm (around 40mm) I suspect the silencer will sit further out if fitted to a Z1R.

DVLA computer was set up late 1998. So if your bike has not had a change in registered owner / taxed since then extremely difficult to trace.
