I have a 6 litre ultrasonic cleaner which you could use if you end up stripping the carbs down again.

Hello and Welcome, I am also in Sunny Bournemouth live in Charminster. There are few others here abouts.

Nice looking Z900 you have there. Regarding your carbs, I’d take the bike up to Debben performance in Ringwood and get Ray or Steve to have a look at the carbs for you.

Z1B calipers are different to later model calipers.

If you want to use Z1B forks you will need Z1 - Z1B calipers

You could buy this kit from Z-power.

Kawasaki Z1B - should have a 6 hole front hub, discs should be 296mm with 6 holes.
Standard single disc - 7mm thick.
If going for twin disc each should be 5mm thick.

6 hole discs also used on H1 and H2.
