Pilot jet 15

Does anyone have a single genuine 15 pilot jet, the long type they don't mind parting with.
Thanks in advance. Kev.

Re: Steering bearing removal

Take cage off first, blow torch small flame, there should be enough lip to then tap off using cold chisel, this is how I do them.

Re: Chroming price v Pattern parts price

Totally agree Warren, but the repros are made elsewhere where life, labour, care about environment are cheap, also much lower profit margins make it more attractive, in over 40 years of riding I have only had one pair of forks re-chromed and one chain guard, chainguard was a freebie, small stuff I d...

Re: Chroming price v Pattern parts price

Love watching plating threads, it's what I used to do for a living, it's expensive to set up, labour intensive, extremely hazardous to health and mortality no matter what ppe you use, very difficult and costly to process the waste, massively detrimental to the environment regardless whether its tri ...

Re: GPz1100B2 S/S HARRIS REP EXHAUST..

Hi Looks good. More original style down pipes and collector than mine. Mine is straight through with the " race " absorption baffle. I remember back in the day removing the convoluted street baffle internals from the end can and running a very loud system without ever being stopped for it...

Re: Z1000 A1 Parts

A1/2 airboxes Inc silencer equates to almost £500 Thou Airboxes seem to command comedy prices, probably because many were binned in favour of Pods and the fact they're not available as a pattern part unlike the Z1. Seem to remember someone was producing the Airtubes though as a pattern part for aro...

Re: Voltage regulator

I replaced mine with an electrex world reg/rec, not the cheapest but better quality than most, you can buy the complete stator, or cable but you have to crimp the wires and sheath them.

Re: Z1000 A1 Parts

Seat , shocks and airbox rubbers are all available new at reasonable prices, complete airboxes are a little harder to get and command a relatively high price.
