Some oximser's won't charge a really low battery, use a normal battery charger to get it up to full charge first then use an optimser to maintain it.

I have the Viton ones from Suzuki performance spares in mine, no problems with them, also have 2 sets from gasket sets just sitting in a box.

17nm is 12.5 ft/lbs and is too much no matter what the book says. 8 to 10 ft/lbs or the equivalent is the maximum, especially given the age of the alloy. I never use a torque wrench on these and just nip them by hand with a 10 mm spanner. I do them the same way, and absolutely do not do them up to ...

Does anyone have any old Z thou float bowls kicking about, it does not mater if overflows are stuffed as i can deal with that as long as they are not cracked, i am after a left and right side.

Solved it, Z1000 B2, the longer jets stop it stalling when on the shorter side stand and no vac tap on the tanks.

Can anyone say what model these carbs actually came off, i know they can be 900/1000 but want to narrow it right down as i want to sell them with as much information as possible, they are non vacuum 26mm with the long pilot jet, numbers on casting are B8 15 and 105 5A. 20190908_143858.jpg 20190908_1...

Its possible to use a cap from another motor as long as it is done properly, someone will come along and explain how to go about it.

They won't fit directly on without rear mount adjustment, had a set of shaft drive pipes on my old A2 and had to modify the rear mounts.

It's an A1 A2, just got a fat wheel on rear, footrest hangers are A1/2 specific.

Fired her up and timed the ole girl today, lots of work and cost more than the bloody thing is worth, got Z thou bars on it now, does this make it a token Z :idea :hah! will balance the carbs over the weekend and maybe give her an outing, weather permitting.

Turn in clockwise :!: Dependent on what carbs you have, if you have mixture screws underneath the throat you need to wind them out a tad, if you have air screws on the sides of the carbs these will need to go in, and all this is according to what carbs and jets you have installed including air filt...
