Re: z1000 a1 mikuni carb adjuster

This has happened quite a bit, on one set i had i cut the slot deeper and made the screwdriver narrower to enable me to do the job, worked fine not perfect, but you never see them unless making adjustments.

Little jolly on 350f

Went out on my little 350f today, ended up in Ely, although this bike could not pull the skin off of a rice pudding it never misses a beat and is a joy to ride, like my Zthou it puts a big grin on my face.

Re: Idiots guide to setting up carbs

Dyna s electronic ignition replaces the old points plate, plug and play, around £150, works fine with stock coils, done mine as a matter of course.

Re: Stainless Steel Bolts - Ok or Not?

Stainless all the way with mine, i guess when they were originally built stainless bolts and screws would have pushed the cost of the bike right up, so Kawasaki decided to put cheap zinced bolts and screws on instead.

Re: Idiots guide to setting up carbs

I am not a fan of the weird George mod as it just bypass's an already existing problem, all electrical connections should be clean and have good flow. Have never used the mod, just kept harness's working right.
