Re: Exhaust temps?

Cheers for the reply.I haven't swapped 1 and 4 because I've got the old coils with the permanently connected HT leads, lead 1 won't reach to no.4. What I have done is a resistance check on primary and secondary windings using the workshop manual and all was good. As mentioned I've also swapped the ...

Re: Valve stem oil seals and valve seal conditioners

It is possible that the valve stems have lost surface oil if stood for a period resulting in seal damage on start up. Replacement seals is your only option I am af...

Re: Exhaust temps?

If you have swapped 1 and 4 leads over and found no difference I would agree that it seems to pointing towards a fuel issue. I would start by checking carb balance.

I think I have one complete with lever, bolt and clutch cable adjuster. There is a small graze on it but that could be dressed out before painting.
If you PM your mobile number I'll text over a couple of images.

Re: Clutch perch for Z900 A4

Bill, Part No 46094-011 is coming up as KH125? Z900 A4 uses 46094-017 which is common to all the below models. Maybe try John Browse or DK if you get stuck? Z305-A1, CSR Z305-A2, CSR Z305-B1, CSR BELT KH400-A3 Z400-D3, STANDARD KH400-A4 Z400-A1, DELUXE Z400-D4, STANDARD KH400-A5 Z400-A2, DELUXE Z400...

New rings fitted etc and fired the old girl up yeterday, smoked like a bugger You have built far more engines than most so not teach granny to suck eggs. Don't al...
