Usual story, detuned for more usable grunt. It wont suit everone for sure.

Plus they look awful and are heavy, and will make an already underpowered bike even slower! Looks may be marmite. As for the effect on power, no one really knows yet. The ones in development are for "race use only" meaning loud and unrestricted which should prove popular with everone exce...

Has anyone ever made an adapter to fit a standard zed tap to later models? Just a thought.

Now I have a clearer picture, I will keep digging.

Sadly, I have just worked out that at 30mpg @ 60mph you need half a teaspoon 2.5cc per second flow rate! Yes, I really do need to get out more :cry:

Hal, it doesn't matter. They are just different phases. Your rectifier or combined reg/rec will sort it out.

Absolutely not looking for a direct replacement.Looking to get rid of the vacuum and go manual. Hoping that a manual with bolts is available. I was planning to head up to my local breakers this afternoon.Hes got a CSR650 listed for parts but thats on your list Adrian so its probably a vacuum tap as...
