Hi Guys,
Preferably one that has been butchered for Ohlin/YSS remote piggy back shocks with the fat springs if you know what I mean.
But anything considered.
Thanks
Paul

Re: Kipkawa clutch flywheel
How about this
The stock selector drum weighs in at about 750g and letting the daylight through saves 200g.

Not Alan Cooper's work but is this the sort of thing you’re looking for?

Re: ZX1100 Fuel return valve
The fuel return valve should not let fuel out of the tank. It sounds like yours is stuck open. With the valve off the tank you should be able to get a cocktail stick and pushing it up the pipe end, see the valve open and close. I’ve heard that if you bottom out the spring you can gently tap out the ...

Yes please. I couldn’t believe the state of mine when I last looked.
I’ve been hoping to find something suitable for some time.

Re: Carbs for 1100 GPZ.
I picked up a set of 34mm CV’s from a GPz750 in the hope they’ll do for my Unitrak 11. I’m not convinced they are the same as the 34mm’s fitted to GPz1100’s. They fit OK but I’ve not attempted to fire it up yet.

Re: J, R, GPZ, unitrac GPZ550 seat lock
Here’s my first attempt at a seat lock. I got the vertical M6 screw hole in the wrong place. I suspect the bracket on my frame is just a wee bit, slightly bent. IMG_0122.JPG So here’s the second attempt with a few adjustments. IMG_0121.JPG Having printed it in ABS it feels quite sturdy. I was toying...

Re: J, R, GPZ, unitrac GPZ550 seat lock
I’ve been looking for a seat lock for ages with no luck. I don’t really want to buy a complete set just for the seat lock. If anyone finds one at the bottom of that bucket we’ve all got full of manky m6 and m8 bolts, if Gus doesn’t want it, I’ll have it. In the meantime, I wonder if I could make som...

Re: Z1000r Carbs
Ouch, looks like you’ve got some contaminates in there.
If you want to do them yourself, there’s a brass washer to take off then you can tap them out with a punch. With that gunge they might be a bit tight so I’d do them in the house at room temperature with a plastic or ally punch.

Where did you get the seat lock from? Everywhere I look it says "Product not available".

Re: Airbox wanted
Thanks Paul. Walshyco’s looks like a J type box. Apart from the anti-pollution mods, I think the same pattern box was fitted to all the CV carb’d models.

Hi, quite possibly. Can you take some pics of it and measure the front to back distance of the base please.

Re: Airbox options
Thanks for that. I’ve modelled my Unitrak box in 3d cad. Then done the same with your dimensions. GPz1100Airbox.png Z1000JAirbox.png I’m thinking the J box has the silencer in the lid whereas the Unitrak has the filter moved forward and the silencer on the end. This makes space for the fuel pump. Do...
