Re: Plugs sooting up Despite top end re-build HELP PLEASE

As has been said, if not already done, refurbish the choke plungers or purchase some aftermarket replacements. Also, you need to ensure you have double checked everything else on the bike. I wrote an article which covers this: https://airevalleyclassics.co.uk/badrunning.html Can I still Buy new plu...

Hydraulic clutch conversion ?

Hi Folks, has anyone ever converted a standard clutch to the above. if so does a kit exist, or parts like a slave cylinder off another another bike. I know a dedicated one will be impossible to find, but willing to do some converting. Its to go on a Z1R . Thanks in advance.

Re: Correct cam positions for top end re-build.

Many thanks Z1015 , Christ I had to use a magnifying glass to find this little mark. Almost hiding behind the rubber damper on the cam sprocket. I did forget to mention, this is for a Z1R. don't suppose its any different. :)

Z1r Re bore sizes

Hi Guys, anyone point me in the right direction for ring gap and piston and bore clearance. For a 0.50 over sized re-bore. I've just had it done but before re-assembly I want to be 100% sure. As it all seems very tight to me !!!!
Thanks in advance for your help.
