Re: Persistant bubbles in master cylinder reservoir
If you cannot get it to go hard (ooh err missus)
Isolate one side at a time (at the splitter) and bleed that. If it goes hard on one calliper but not the other you have the culprit.

Great bike.
Has the front of seat foam been lowered slightly?
Certainly a keeper.

Re: flying tiger paintwork
there were several posts saying he had got too busy and wait times were long. Also that he was farming out work to others to concentrate on his ceramic coating stuff. Beware.

Re: Genuine versus replica fenders/mudguards?
I paint waxoyl underseal under my fronts cos it can't be seen once bike is together.
Rear needs to be wiped over with wd40 rag after a wash cos it shows out more.

Hi There
You can have a digital copy of the Owners manual for the Z1 off my web site here -
http://www.zedrider.co.uk/service--owners-manuals.html
It will explain the functioning of the carbs and may help you to understand where the issue lies.

Re: Genuine versus replica fenders/mudguards?
Dave Marsden (expert) told me that front is best genuine but that the repro rear is plenty good enough.
That's what I went with on my Z1-B

Andrew
My first experience of a proper (non-moped) bike was on the back of an xl250 hodna.
Great memories and I can remember being amazed at the power of it - back then.
I am unfortunately harder to impress these days though LOL
ENJOY your lanes.
