When the Optimate gives you battery condition, it is based entirely on battery voltage,so 12.87 would be fully charged. Voltage is probably the least accurate way of checking battery condition, it probably has sulphated plates and if you measured the current it is absorbing it would be very low, so ...

If you buy online, be sure you can get the acid. I know a lot of people will not sell just acid, understandably they are losing a sale to the internet, also acid is going to be a lot tighter regulated. You could swap the coils over and see if the misfire move, that would eliminate the coil.

I have both and to me the 1R definitely feels lower and narrower.

Are you saying you have both sets of bars that you wish to sell?
