Stripped the cap and rebuilt, didn't seem blocked, got a gauze filter from eBay but couldn't find a 6mm one so got a 5mm, too tight but cple min in hot water and it's a tight fit but it's on. Away for a week so try it when I can, fingers crossed.

Not tried opening the cap, assumed that as it runs fine on reserve then cap would be OK, will try tho.

Hi all, last twice while out on the a4, after a number of miles the bike feels like it needs to go onto reserve (plenty of fuel) turning the reserve on cures the problem so I am assuming that the filter on top of the fuel tap is blocked/knackered. I remember seeing them on ebay or maybe somewhere el...
