Re: Frame painting

I’m able to offer a frame painting service, although I currently don’t have the ability for blasting, so the frame would need to come to me in bare metal. I’m just outside Whitchurch in Shropshire, and I have only recently started working as a sole trader, predominantly with Japanese motorcycles. He...

Mk II

Hi, thought I’d share a couple of photos of my z1000a3 that I bought in march this year. The bike has 15k miles and had been in storage since 1990, it had been fitted with the front and rear ends from a gpz750 unitrak including the mono shock. All of this was quite worn out so I have reinstated the ...

Re: z650 frame, z1 bodykit

The tank is quite straightforward to fit, I put one on a z750 (this has the same frame shape around the headstock and engine) and all that was needed is to weld a piece of bar across the frame for the tank support rubbers.

Re: Another Z650...

Nice to see these progressing :up With reference to the clutch damper rubbers, I bought a few sets of viton replacement rubbers from turbosteve84 on the 750turbo website for £40 a set, iirc he’s in the states but shipped them without any problems and I’ve been using them withouts any issues. The z65...

It’s a lovely place and one of my favourite photo stops, I take it you’re local to the area? There’s not many fellow members that I know of in the area apart from Will, the draw through turbo guru.

Re: 17th December in sunny Shropshire

The second photo is Whittington castle, near Oswestry. Sorry, the first photo is Hanmer mere which is actually in Wales, I live 3 miles from Whitchurch, Shropshire but our house is in Wales….so I really should have titled the post as Shropshire and Wales border hopping

Re: New shed

I can’t believe how quickly the time seems to go by these days but I’m still trying to collect all the parts needed for the z1r moriwaki, I’ve been lucky enough to find a metmachex braced swing arm which I really like, unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be able to use the 5x18” astralite wheel though ...

gpz750 turbo engine

Gpz750 turbo engine for sale. It’s been in dry storage for many years, turns over with good compression, no stud, thread, or fin damage. Very clean and original looking inside the cam cover, will need a full cosmetic restoration and I’d also recommend an internal check with replacement cam chain, va...

Re: New shed

This weekend I collected a new to me z650c3, it was owned by my late mate, Yudi who was also a member on here…..we first met over 30 years ago and we both owned z650’s at the time, we both used our bikes daily back then and attended various events like the bulldog bash and rock and blues etc …..good...
