Spondon F1
Just wondering if anyone has any photos or details on the early steel frame Spondon F1, Z1 chassis, from around the 1980’s? I have one that was originally used as a race bike, and I’m slowly getting parts and putting it back together as a road/track day bike with a z1000h engine. There’s lots of det...

Z650 and Z750 engines job lot
I have 2x z650b1 crankcases, 1x z750 crankcase and 1x gpz750 unitrak crankcase with around 4x large storage boxes of engine internals, there’s additional parts in the boxes, over and above the 4x stripped engines….all in generally good, used condition. I can get more photos of the boxes of parts if ...

Z1b carbs spares or repair
A set of carbs that came to me with the balance adjustment bar and hardware cut off the main carb holding plate, hence sold for spares or repair. Apart from the above, all the carb bodies are in good used condition with no damage, nothing seized. Marked 217 which I believe is for the z1b. £250 colle...

Re: 750turbo special
Will the alloy turbo wing go on that twin headlight fairing or have you got an original fairing The original fairing lowers (side panels, wing and belly pan) should fit as intended with the twin headlight fairing….depending on how many of those parts that I can find, and also depending on what size...

Re: 750turbo special
Wow you’re a brave man you better dust off your credit card Hopefully it shouldn’t be too bad Tony, I’ve got a couple of spare engines and boxes of bits so with a bit of luck I’ll mainly just need service parts…. I am still missing the alloy fairing wing and a set of turbo clocks off the top of my ...

750turbo special
I hope it’s allowed to post this in here, mods please delete if not. I recently purchased possibly the cheapest, and roughest 750turbo out there for sale as I’ve always wanted to build one into a special, to go with my turbo powered z650. Here’s the pictures (please no laughing at the back) of what ...

Re: Mk II
Thanks….yes the styling has grown more on me too over the years, but I’d also love a z1r, one day maybe.
The rear wheel is an old cma road wheel without cush drive, I was struggling to find a matching front, so I’ve used one from a zl900 eliminator, it almost matches!

Re: Frame painting
I’m able to offer a frame painting service, although I currently don’t have the ability for blasting, so the frame would need to come to me in bare metal. I’m just outside Whitchurch in Shropshire, and I have only recently started working as a sole trader, predominantly with Japanese motorcycles. He...

Mk II
Hi, thought I’d share a couple of photos of my z1000a3 that I bought in march this year. The bike has 15k miles and had been in storage since 1990, it had been fitted with the front and rear ends from a gpz750 unitrak including the mono shock. All of this was quite worn out so I have reinstated the ...
