PertonPC, you have set yourself a real task, in establishing the correct original Candy colour for the blue Z1B. They varied from a pasty blue, a greeny blue, a dull blue to a royal blue! As you mention, that you would go with a modern metalic blue, you may find you may have to go that way. I have ...

Not trying to sound rude...However, this forum is probably the last place on Earth you will receive an honest valuation of the worth of that motorcycle.

Twozeds unfortuantly the PMC/DOREMI repos look nothing like the original metal work pressings if thats what hes after The PMC item is quite crappy but what would you expect at the price? The Doremi item is much better...but hey, people don't like to pay for quality if something cheaper is available.

and another thing gbh,if rare parts are getting rarer, why dont you have a go at all the people that are breaking them bikes up. I never had a problem with people breaking bikes, in fact this often leads to more bikes being put back on the road. Reminds me of the time I sold a Vincent tank th...

Can I ask what you intend doing with it? Why not a common garden variety 76 Z900 head or even Z1000 head if you're doing something different? Early 72 heads are hard enough to come by as it is without people making projects out of them. Surely George that has got bugger all to do with you or any of...

No, I would never put Redex in my engine . Too powerful and can dry out the bore. Someone said, just use it neat on the valves. But, I reckon the Scotchbrite is the way to go, unless the ol ultrasonic jobbie can do it? What do you lot reckon? Rod Do you know the original use of Redex was exactly th...

Given that you mention, Redex...I think you're talking about a running engine rather than a disassembled one, or is it just me? I remember when service stations used to offer a squirt of redex with a tank of fuel to act as a top end lubricant. If you squirt some in your tank you can expect a bit of ...

Fookinell, hutch had best be a good price considering how cheap complete correctly painted sets of new items cost here in Japan.

Would it be possible for people to arrange for Factory directives they have to be made available on the comm?
That way people could print off hard copies for use at home.
Just a thought.

The original part is still available from Kawasaki, 92001-104 and costs 347yen each. So genuine is what, $3.80 USD each? It makes the stainless sets that Jeff at Z1 enterprises sells for $18.50 look very good value unless you're a slave to originality. I mean, even if you had stainless hex stock on ...
