Re: De glaze

Looks like 'running-in' oil to me, used to use it for the first fill in a rebuilt engine back in my Mini days.

Re: Stafford 2025 call for bikes

Same as usual Chris, you can have mine as a back up but people must be sick of looking at it by now so it would be good to have some 'fresh blood' so come on guy's get your bike polished up and get it on the stand!

Re: Z900 A5 For Sale

Shameless bump, not got round to advertising it anywhere else so still for sale at what I think is a bargain price (I was at D&K at the weekend and horrified at what they are asking for bikes that need thousands throwing at them). Does like to start on two cylinders at times (usually when someon...

Z900 A5 For Sale

Z900 for sale due to lack of use and lack of space (and I fancy building a special), has had a good going through, new paint, powder coated frame etc, engine cases ceramic cleaned and polished by Steve Smethurst, new tyres, spokes, fork tubes (or they may have been re-chromed by Philpots, can't reme...

Re: Stafford 2024 - CALL FOR BIKES

Hi Guy's
If we're short of a bike or two my z900 is available to make up numbers, put it on the 'reserve list' as obviously it was on the stand last year so I would rather let someone else have a go but if you need it, it's available :)

Re: Harris Magnum 2 Z1

Stick a photo of the speedo on, I may have the fitting instructions/manual (got a new one still in the box) that I could photocopy if that's any use.

Re: Fork Stanchions rechrome or new.

I have had forks re-chromed by Philpot's and also bought some from Zpower and have had excellent results from both, I think you'll be happy whichever you choose (if you need them quick then go to Zpower).

Re: Speedometer Swap 1973 Z1

Just get them done by someone on here (Al Marshall?), at least your mileage will stay the same.
Make sure whoever does it puts LED bulbs in though or you won't be able to see how fast you're going at night (if you ever ride at night).
