Registering import

Just a quick question, when filling out the V55 form to register a imported vehicle what should the answer be to the question that asks if the vehicle is exempt from type approval?

Re: Z900 A4 air box

There are some who will tell you a Z1000 box will fit, it won't!
Do some research to make sure you are buying the correct box, fell foul on that one myself.

Re: Hi from North Wales

I'm doing things the opposite way round, just finished restoring a a4 and about to start a CBX or three, bought one from South Africa and before I knew it I had two more in bits!
Should be entertaining, i'm only used to having to lap 8 valves :)

Re: Front Fork Spindle clamps

Ha! Got a feeling I know what the worst that can happen is, roughly the same as pushing a bike off a ramp with no front brake! don't ask how I know :??

Thanks, but I got a pair from John Browse, didn't fancy trying to get the bike off the ramp without them fitted.

Re: a4 resto nearly done

The Z1 was restored from the bike below, which is why I had to use a lot of repro parts. I tried to keep as much of the original a4 as possible but the downside was it ended up costing 3 grand more the the z1 to restore partly due to having no airbox (total cost £650) and putting a twin disc convers...

a4 resto nearly done

Just about finished my a4, tried to use as much of the original bike as possible so have renovated rather than replace where possible. Turned out alright I reckon. Front Fork Spindle clamps

Looking for a pair of 900 front fork spindle clamps (or what ever you want to call them), the bits that hold the front wheel in as mine appear to have gone walkies.
Any help appreciated.
Best Regards.............Nick
