Re: Front Fork Spindle clamps

Ha! Got a feeling I know what the worst that can happen is, roughly the same as pushing a bike off a ramp with no front brake! don't ask how I know :??

Re: Front Fork Spindle clamps

Thanks, but I got a pair from John Browse, didn't fancy trying to get the bike off the ramp without them fitted.

Re: a4 resto nearly done

The Z1 was restored from the bike below, which is why I had to use a lot of repro parts. I tried to keep as much of the original a4 as possible but the downside was it ended up costing 3 grand more the the z1 to restore partly due to having no airbox (total cost £650) and putting a twin disc convers...

a4 resto nearly done

Just about finished my a4, tried to use as much of the original bike as possible so have renovated rather than replace where possible. Turned out alright I reckon. Front Fork Spindle clamps

Looking for a pair of 900 front fork spindle clamps (or what ever you want to call them), the bits that hold the front wheel in as mine appear to have gone walkies.
Any help appreciated.
Best Regards.............Nick

Z900 airbox

Still looking for a airbox for my a4, I know people say you can use one from a z1000 but i cant see how you could get the snorkal to fit without hacking the battery box to bits.
So if anyone has a airbox from a z900 they would sell please let me know :bng :bng :bng :bng

Re: Z900 airbox

Still looking for a airbox as the one I bought has turned out to be from a z1000 ( yes I know it will fit but it makes the snorkal a very tight fit due to being a bit shorter and I've got a nice new snorkal that I don't want to damage) so if anyone has a Z900 airbox they would be willing to sell ple...

Brake caliper refurb

Guy's, what is the consensus of opinion on whether to paint or powder coat calipers if you are looking for a factory finish, paint would be easiest but I don't want to ruin it the first time I bleed the brakes, just a bit concerned the powder might be a bit thick.
Any thoughts appreciated .

Re: Where does this go?

No I've got that one and the one that screws into the selector, drawn a blank on this though.
Wouldn't be as bad if I bought the motor as a box of bits but I took it apart!!
