Re: Jetting for 76 kz900ltd

26mm
The bike was never as fast as the models with the larger carbs bu went up to 120 with ease.
Just feels sluggish now. Think I will wait for the dyno run and see what happens.
PS it probably doesn’t help riding the Tuono :D
Thanks for the replies

Jetting for 76 kz900ltd

Hi all Just wondering if any of you can shed some light on what jets I would need for my above bike. The carbs are std ones and the bike ran well with my old V&H and Harris exhausts on, but I’ve got the 4-4 ones on now and it seems not to pull so well. I’m going to put it on a rolling road in th...

Jetting for a modified KZ900Could someone

Hi all Could somebody let me know the jet sizes for my KZ900Ltd please. Originally the bike I've owned for 23 years had a 4-2 system, it then had a Vance and Hines, then a Harris. I put the original factory jets in the carbs and it ran well. Two years ago I fitted a 4-4 system and the bike runs ok b...

I cleaned it up and took photos but am struggling to post them. If you give me an email address I will send them to you.
The lowest down pipe has a scrap on the the bottom as it contacted with a speed bump as I run with 17" wheels.
Looking for £300

I've got a Harris which has covered approx. 500miles since new, but removed it and replaced it with a 4-4 system. When I get in from offshore I will post some photos but it is near mint albeit approx. 4 years old.

Jetting Z900ltd

Hi Having rebuilt my KZ900Ltd which I've owned in different guises for 22 years, I finally fitted 4-4 exhausts. They look great but the engine does not pull as well as the last set of pipes. I realise these exhausts are more restrictive but as the 26mm carbs are running the recommended jetting, I wa...

Actually I'm going to have to make the hangers to come of the rear footrests as I cut the original hangers off many years ago as they looked horrible hanging below the V & H and then the Harris. I kept them but really don't want to start welding them back on until I need to redo the frame. What ...

Thanks A1John,

As I never had the original 4-4 exhausts fitted, why des it say one of four needed? unless two fit each hanger?

Please assist as I don't want to buy 2 to many
