agree - do it yourself but if you have a specific question there's lots on here who can help. just restored you said - so oil/filters all done ? also if the heads been of it'll need retorquing. what's been done on the restore ? Wheel bearings, engine, chain and sprockets, tyres, brake pads/shoes etc...

I put Tesco fuel in all my bikes and cars and never had a problem. I think it’s incorrect to say there’s a generic problem with Tesco fuel but each to their own.

Just run a vac pipe from one of the rubber inlet manifolds where you would normally attach the vac gauges. It will do exactly the same job and when you want to balance the carbs just unplug the tap vac pipe from the intake boot and use prime to get the fuel feed. This . Me too on my Z1R with a mk2 ...
