the welded mount bracket is bent as a result of previous owners sitting on the bike with the side stand down

Thanks for that, I had found that diagram, but the bushing are packed as a set of 4, so where do the other 2 go? I figure it must be in the hanger somehow, but my hanger on the inside (where the nut goes) is chamfered. Offering bits up, the bolt appears to be sized for the two parts of exhaust and ...

use a female spade terminal & push it onto the spring stops the spring flying into orbit :D :D :D

just chop the bullet connectors of & fit block connectors its much neater
