Re: Garage Lift

Abba Skylift?

Takes up less space than a tradition bench and you can get in and around the bike better for cleaning etc

Re: Z1B rebuild

Small update

The bike has been getting a reasonable amount of use and runs really well. After living with it for a while I decided to change the exhaust and got some replica 4/4s. I'm very happy with the look

Re: Z1B rebuild

So just a wee PS, its been on the road for just over a year now and I really enjoy owning and riding it. Its been totally reliable and every ride feels special. The front brake set up works very well but I sometimes think its looks a little odd. The exhaust doesnt quite look right at the back to my ...

Re: Talking Italian.....

I've had a selection of modernish Italian bikes and they've all been faultless to be fair. This is a personal thing but Ducatis felt the the most Italian to me if that makes sense. If you've an Italian itch I'd start looking there

Re: Front end vibes with Pretech Caliper

Many thanks, no centre stand but I'm heading over to see a pal soon and between us we'll jack up the bike and check out as above.

Being a precious about the bike, I'm waiting for a dry day

I'll post up the results

Front end vibes with Pretech Caliper

I have a single pretech caliper on the front on the Z1B. I'm feeling some slight front end clunking. The frequency increases, decreases with wheel speed but goes away when the brake is applied. There's nothing obvious rubbing

Any ideas?

Thanks

Re: Battery Charger

I've had a couple of Oxford ones for over 4 years and they both work well, quite keenly priced too compared with the established brands
