Hi, who would you recommend to refurbish a Z1R rev counter? The face has faded and the casing needed a paint. Hi, it’s already been restored as it was done about 8 years ago and only done 38 miles since! It won 1st place at the VJMC in 2014.

Hi, I have just bought a 72 Z1 with the frame number in the higher end of the 300 range, therefore what month would this have most probably been built?
Also, should it have the carb balancer tubes in the head or the inlet rubbers?

First job is to fit a twin disc master cylinder and see how that goes.
Done this on a number of Z1's and it definitely improves the braking.
That's on the understanding that the brake flexi pipes are not 30 years old!
