Re: E10 ethanol fuel resistant Viton choke plunger seal replacement for all rubber tipped choke plungers.

I just got around to fitting the set of plungers I bought from Rob back in 2020! Time flies Wow, what a total transformation (Z650). Not only do the chokes work properly now, with no racing, no spitting and a consistent idle ... but its also better on idle off-choke too. I guess they were sucking in...

Re: Anyone recognise this shock make?

Actually White Power stopped calling themselves White Power some years ago lol.

They are now just WP ....seems some snowflakes were a little offended by the original long established name ......

Re: Screw removal

Rather than risk damaging the casings. If the heads are so badly damaged, drill the heads off, seperate the two switch halves and the remaining thread will come out easy with pliers or even fingers. Trying to cut slots with a Dremel or hacksaw is nigh on impossible in recessed housings.

Re: Z1R switchgear controls

I have never seen individual bits available anywhere, unless someone is breaking a switch for some reason

These guys list some Z1R switchgear, if they have em, I'd expect ZPower to have some too

Re: CHAIN LUBE

They will all fling: If you lube just before you ride, or put too much on. Chains should be cleaned and lubed when the bike comes back in, preferably while the chain is till warm. Use as little as you can get away with. Lube the inside run because centrifugal will move it outside anyway. Wurth Dry i...

Re: Z1-B drive chain clip link

So how do I fit a rivet link to my 630 chain? The Oxford tool I bought will not flare the ends of the link supplied sufficiently even though I had an extension bar on it! Or did I just happen to get extremely hard pins on my chain link? Well Oxford is just cheap Chinese stuff. Buy or borrow a prope...

Re: Z1-B drive chain clip link

Different links from other manufacturers will NOT fit successfully or safely. It is quite a scary thought really, ranking alongside using lockwire instead of spring clip retainers on drive chains All have slightly different pin diameters even though the chain pitch may be the same. The DID 630VS has...

May not be, but it's better than rusty

Not if they have to polish the front pipes so thin that they tear when trying to fit them .... as happened with an Alfa exhaust I had.

Re: performance brake callipers

I am not sure of the width of the Nissins tbh. I had the backs machined though to clear the spokes on the bike. Not taken lots off, maybe 2 or 3mm or so. No issues that way. I think they would have cleared anyway, I just went belt and braces. https://i.imgur.com/aP5d6PM.jpg https://i.imgur.com/FE7Hd...

Re: Handlebar cable ties

You can fit and release them as much as you like. They do not lock in place, in fact unless you loop the tail and put it back under the loop, they slip and work loose anyway
