Re: Please don’t laugh

No laughing here - Fab bikes and easily the best at 'what they do' hence their sales success around the world.

You could even ride up to Z-power in Lancashire to collect your resto parts - would probably be cheaper than postage.

What Philippe Said.

There is a aftermarket chrome chain guard available but it's a very 'boxy' shape and nothing like the original.

Re: REX 1200R A6F SOLD

Looked lovely Garry - someone has got themselves a good un ! Curious - what V twin are you after ? Cheers Tim Think I've got one more bike in me before I call it a day and In 43 years of biking I've never owned Italian or a V-twin so I'm dusting off my Multimeter and renewing my AA membership in pr...

Have you got the right light bracket?. The Short and long mudguards have different brackets.

Re: Talking Italian.....

Cannot recommend a monster, worst bike i have ever owned, lousy electrics and totally unreliable. so that kinda narrows it down to a Vespa for you :D Originally I would have agreed with you - a mate had a 748 back in the early 2000's and he had all kinds of leccy prob's. but these Days Audi now own...

Talking Italian.....

No, not that Bananarama Song but Italian Bikes.... Owned Bikes since 77, but never an Italian, and never a V-twin. So I thought I might change that. But what to go for (or avoid)?. Want something modern-ish, so no classics, and can't do Sports Bikes (much as I'd like an F4, 916 or Tornado). So was t...

Hey I've had 9 "bogseats" since 1979, 1 x 50, 2 x 70's and the rest 90's. Awesome concept regardless of what the club members think. However, prices are just piss taking, that's why I've bought an early 70's XL125 instead. Loads cheaper, quicker and better looking. Had a 50 back in the da...

Will Barber (big fluff on here) should be able to supply you with a correct 'A' speedo overlay.

Presume you know about these people for parts, but here's the link anyway... http://www.z-power.co.uk/
Truly excellent service from fellow Zed enthusiasts.

Good luck with the build.

It may be crazy,(and I don’t necessarily disagree)but...... it has cost me about 12 grand thus far. Yes, things got out of hand and I did plan to keep it for ever but times change and things have to move on. If you want the best CX out there then it’s cheap at half what it cost! Bet you never expec...
