Re: Cat and fiddle ride.

Not been up the Cat & Fiddle in years, last time I was there were marked & unmarked Police cars & bikes every where, there were old bill with radar guns hiding behind every Hedge, and to quote the Movie/Song 'they even had a Bear in the Air'.

Not been up there since. :(

Sadly prices have dipped a fair bit... I sold a Near mint/original example 6 months ago for not much more than that, and even then it went to an overseas buyer, All I got in the Uk was comedy offers and people wanting to swap with their old nail of a 250.

Re: new member!!

Welcome..

As others have said, leave the A2 as she is, plenty of non original Z Thou's around if you want to modify, and they will cost much less in the current Market as well.

Re: First Run out of 25

When I lived in North Manchester I took a ride up to Devils Bridge at Kirkby Lonsdale - which is a bit further south. Great looking bike and some fantastic roads up there. Sorry had a blonde moment, it was Kirkby longsdale. Out on the other today, a lot cooler & windier . Wasn't out long , pic ...

Re: A4 for sale

Interesting. Yes, a H2 would have to be a C in purple. For the H1 I like the F in blue. I've had lots of two stroke triples but neither of the above. Any Internet expert cant wait to tell you about the Widowmaker H2 and it's killer handling & brakes, but for me that was the least of it's proble...

Re: A4 for sale

so let us all know what you are buying next ? In no particular order H1, H2, T160, GT550. There are a few guilty pleasures as well but I would be too embarrassed to declare them on here  Had 2 H1's (A + D) and a H2B. For me I'd take the H1 every time, H2 just has one to many little qu...

Re: Newbie

Not new to the forum, but new to posting. Ive mainly only had 2 strokes in the past, mainly Yam RD's. (350LC's and 400's) The price of spares has just got ridiculous for RD's, I have carried out several nut/bolt resto's but thought I would look at getting my all time favourite bike, a Z1B (Blue),. ...

Re: Z900 1976 A4 For Sale - Colchester - Essex - CO160BJ

Perhaps a reflection of the current Classic market, but for many years people would have snapped up a bike like this simply because there was a profit in it. Today the cost of the purchase & resto would be perhaps more than the bikes worth ruling out many of these type buyers.
