Re: REX Mirrors.

Cradley still have them at £50 each. I've got a lh on order at the mo 3 weeks back order. If you know where to get replacement glass I've got 2 or 3 Lh and 1 rh. all ok bar no glass. Cheers Warren. Part numbers seem unique to the REX but some ZR7 & Zephyr mirrors look identical??. There are som...

Re: Need Respray to A1 on this

My old A1 painted in Non standard Candy Red by Richie at MotorcyleFX (Standard Wine red was a little bland for me) DSC01523_zpsynl70pqs.jpg Richie's done several bikes for me along with many other members on here as well, and Always quality work. He's based in the North-West but well worth the trav...

Re: Z1r long range tank

So with Garys input have we to rethink our value is it worth less :?: Only my opinion. Stick it on the bay and it'll find it's value..... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1978-Kawasaki-Z1R1000-KZ-KZT00D-1000-Z1R-Z1-R-KZ1000-Z1-R-GAS-TANK-FUEL-STOCK/202753188106?hash=item2f3508210a:g:jEkAAOSwFwBdTHQY Reme...

Re: Z1r long range tank

I think someone told me that the big tanks were a free upgrade offered by Kawasaki because everyone complained about the range. The small ones went into the loft which is why there are a few mint ones about. Was chatting to a guy a couple of years ago who used to work at a Kawasaki main Dealer back...

Re: Z1r long range tank

Interesting.....

When I had my Shed the opposite seemed true, ie original small tanks were the more valuable as no one wanted the fugly big tank as it ruined the bikes lines.

Re: Wanted z900, I know there won’t be many, but I’m looking for a bike with full history, with very low miles

Welcome. I'd be amazed if you could find a 100% original bike with all it's history and a service book stamped every year for the last 43 years. Also, unlike more modern stuff, Low Miles does not always mean low wear, These bikes really don't like being sat around for years doing nothing and can req...

REX Wanted.

After everyone's positive comments I'm on the look out for a nice example of the above please.

Don't mind 11 or 12, but would prefer a standard low miler.

Budget around £5K, but could go more for the right bike.

TIA.
