I jumped off a KH250 straight on to a brand new purple KH400 in 1979. The blend of power (much more than the 250) coupled with a fantastic exhaust noise is intoxicating. I would happily own one again. It did make me wonder what the 500 must be like! Owned 2 H1's Kev, and present ride is a KH400A4. ...

A4/A1 carbs are pretty much the same 26's Al. The only real difference is the adjustment on the A4 is on the air intake side, where as the A1 carbs it's underneath on the head side.

Thanks Garry, and yes it is, Dino the purple people eater, pic was taken by my mate when we stopped for some breakfast at six hills cafe, he was riding one of my Z's, the blue Z1b behind Dino I actually prefer that Purple to the H2C shade even though the C is the more desirable and valuable model. ...
