Hi Garry, hope you and Deb's are keeping well, All good thanks, Yourself and the lovely Judith the same I trust?. Interestingly the Turbo wouldn't start this morning, ALL four plugs had failed. They were all iridium as well. Put in an old set of NGK's and she fired first prod. Had plenty of failed ...

Re: Z1000a1. 1&4
Hi Warren, I did clean out pilot on number 4 last week, no joy, there is a spark on 1 & 4 , I will check the fuel levels see if something not right there. The spark seems weak. Does sound pilot related if it's been Stood David. Bit of a faff but could you try the Z1R's carbs to prove the point?.

GPZ750 Turbo Silencers.
A set of original GPZ 750 Turbo silencers removed from my 84 Turbo. These were the original silencers which were on my bike when I got it, they were solid with no rot, just the usual scratches and marks. I had the Silencers powder coated in High temperature Matt black powder coat and they've been on...

Publicity stunt. I doubt you'd have got anywhere near these prices at the height of the boom, let alone now.

Re: Euro grab rail with indicator brackets
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too cheap.
Euro grab rails aren't available as a pattern part (unlike the US type) so if you want one the only choice is original.
Worth £200+ of any Zed owners money.

What he said ^^^. Sourcing all the conversion bits would be expensive and time consuming. then you'd still have to alter or modify your expensively acquired original Z1-R parts to fit.

Re: Diamond Green
Not Z1b Specific sorry. I've used RS for several touch in's and rattle cans and the match was pretty good. The problem comes as many of our bikes have been repainted several times down the years, many using car colours that were 'near enough'.

Re: Diamond Green
KHI didn't really issue paint codes as such, so if you can't get a panel to match from, then these people already have the Diamond Dark Green ready mixed to the correct shade... https://www.rsbikepaint.com/en-gb/colou ... dyear=1976

Re: Carb overflow pipes location
From memory (if it's the same as the Thou), the rubber fits on the top engine mount and the 4 overflows go through the other end of the rubber and down behind the block... You can just see it above the kick start to the right of the brake switch nuts on my old 1000... e529545f-d403-4a9f-9745-506d912...
