Unless anyone knows different I wouldn't be surprised if the Pughs bike doesn't end up in Japan . They are still commanding strong money over there like the Mk 2.

Thanks for the replies, I have found the problem . It's a slightly damaged hub , I didn't see it when the wheels were stripped probably about 10 years ago, you can't see it but can feel it . It would possibly grind out and be useable but don't want to chance it .. I now need a hub ... :roll:

was the bearing you took out seized solid? If so, it could have been spinning its inner race against the inside of the brake plate, wearing the inner face of the brake plate down ( hence closing up the clearance between drum outer face and outer periphery of brake plate.) That surface doesn't look ...

Z900 A4. Rear brake plate catching the edge of the drum. All bearings are as they should be and the spacer is correct way round with the offset shoulder towards the drum side. Have you tried the V strom yokes for size ? steering lock etc as the Bandit yokes have minimal lock .
