Unless anyone knows different I wouldn't be surprised if the Pughs bike doesn't end up in Japan . They are still commanding strong money over there like the Mk 2.

I did the same but now reversing the engine back to a Z 1000 engine .

Thanks for the replies, I have found the problem . It's a slightly damaged hub , I didn't see it when the wheels were stripped probably about 10 years ago, you can't see it but can feel it . It would possibly grind out and be useable but don't want to chance it .. I now need a hub ...

If so, it could have been spinning its inner race against the inside of the brake plate, wearing the inner face of the brake plate down ( hence closing up the clearance between drum outer face and outer periphery of brake plate.)
