Re: Z650 Special...not for the purist.

It's been a while since any updates on this one chaps...lots been going on over the last couple of years. The plan is to, hopefully, have it ready to take over to the IOM for the Manx at the end of August. Still masses to do but the engine is somewhere near ready to start putting together. Barrels a...

Paolo Tarozzi rearsets on a Z900-A4

Hi, anyone fitted a set of Paolo Tarozzi rear sets on a Z900-A4? Very basic part’s diagram supplied, but no fitting instructions. I’m happy enough with the gear linkage side…but a bit confused with the rear brake setup (drum)…it’s the ‘return spring’ linkage and actuator rod fitting that’s got me st...

Brand new AGV X3000 Legends crash helmet

I’ve recently purchased an AGV X3000 Legends crash helmet. Having tried it on, it’s just slightly too small for me. AGV size is a MS (medium small) 57cm. I bought in on the internet and the company do not have the ML that I obviously need. Brand new, comes with all that’s in the photos….paid £220…wi...

Would anyone be able to let me know the dimensions of the spacer, item 7 (2-off) in the exploded view. Part number is 43088-002.
I'd like to machine my own.

Thanks, Paul

Re: Ride down to Worthing

Cheers Sanderz, yeah the old girl still scrubs up quite nicely....mind you, that's the first time I've ridden the 900, any reasonable mileage, for a very long time.
Paint on Gary's H2 is really nice....it's out of a rattle can !! :)

Ride down to Worthing

A few of us ventured to the south coast yesterday evening. Great fish and chips on the seafront at Worthing and then rode back via Arundel. Riding home at 9pm on country roads, I'd forgotten how bad 70's headlights are....I might as well have held a candle in front of me  My Z900 rode great, co...

Re: Piper Exhaust

If you fiddle about with the mounting a Marving pipe angles up nice, like the Piper, but it has got the `flat` collector box under the engine....sounds the nuts as well :)

Lovely work mate.
You got any history of the bike when it was used for drag racing?
