1st class muppetry - snapped head bolt

Guys, I would really appreciate some advice. Had to take the head off today, z900 by the way, as oil has been leaking from the front of the engine for some time now. It was all going really well then the little 10mm head bolt that bolts into the head through the locating dowel snapped off - Rats ! H...

Yeh, the Dart was purely coincidental, it just happened by just as I took the picture. Nice old car.
Both zeds sounded great as they pulled away. :D

Spotted Mr & Mrs Ralpharama at West Bay today

Minding my own business when the sound of two zeds with Harris 4-1 pipes greeted my ears

Hmmm, I must be missing something.
I have the hinges with those little tangs on them, but I dont see what they do. In the pictures in the other thread the seat is open and those tangs are doing nothing ! Can you explain how it's supposed to support the seat please ?
Cheers

Kz900 seat stand

The kz900 that acquired recently hasn't got a seat stand and the seat folds right open and seems to rest on the side panel. Obviously not ideal, yet I can't see anything on either the underside seat or the frame under the seat where a seat stand might be missing. There must be a seat stand of sorts ...

Hello again chaps. Thought I'd ask again on this. Can I fit UK lefthand switchgear to a KZ900 ? Or alternatively, is the plastic slide that the knob screws on to the same ? As that and the knob is all I'd need to repair it ? Or does anyone have a KZ one they'd be happy to sell ? Cheers in advance fo...

Lefthand switchgear

Hi, I have a KZ900 with a knackered lefthand handlebar switchgear (the hi/lo button is snapped off). I notice that it doesn't seem to have a flash button like the UK ones do, question is, would a UK one work (either with or without the flash function working), or does it need to be a replacement KZ ...

Assuming I can make the date, would it be acceptable for me to come along to the rally that's not a rally, on my Kawasaki that's not a Z ? That's if I haven't acquired one by then of course !
Cheers
Paul
