Re: Luggage Rack
I have this one that was fitted to my KZ900 when I bought it. The guy that I bought the bike from was a fabricator / welder and made the rack, as well as a bunch of other stuff for the bike. I believe the rack to be made of stainless. It’s all one piece. No idea what it’s worth. Maybe someone could ...

Re: Side panel mounts
Cheers guys.
Just wondering though, if I bought the Z1b brackets (rather than make my own) will they fit my Z900 ok and give me the front mounting points for the side panels in the right place ? Thanks

Side panel mounts
Afternoon folks, I have a Z900 but would like to put the slimmer Z1B type side panels on it. Ideally repaint in that scheme too. My question is if I buy the Z1B brackets that provide the front mounting for the side panel lugs, will they fit my bike ? And if so, do I need to change anything else to m...

Re: KZ900 Tacho - or Not ?
Ah, there we are then. Thanks Mark. I wonder how that found it’s way on the bike ! I’ll need to get the right one then. Don’t suppose anyone has one they want to swap for some beer tokens ? The repro ones look good, but the don’t seem to have the ND logo on so would be at odds with the speedo. Might...

KZ900 Tacho - or Not ?
Evening folks, I was just looking into what might be involved in refurbing my clocks with new faces when I noticed that the tacho that’s fitted didn’t appear to be the same as what was being advertised as a replacement face. The one that’s fitted goes up to 10,000 rpm with a redline at 7,750. Having...

Re: Easy clutch ?
At around 120 squids it’s not a cheap !!!!!!! How much is your old Zed worth???? That's peanuts...it's a couple of nights out with a currey to finish. You’re right of course, but I was just trying to establish if they are any good. 120 squids for something that’s going to make the clutch much...

Easy clutch ?
Evening folks, As my clutch cable has snapped and I’m waiting on the arrival of a replacement, I was wondering whether anyone had any experience with using the PMC Easy Clutch mechanism ? Do they really make it much easier to operate the clutch lever ? And are there any other alternatives ? At aroun...

Re: The man on the hill likes it !
We decided to pull in there for a 10 minute rest on our way back from West Bay. My mate had a flask of tea. Was a great day out. Nice sunny weather too. After a couple of hours in West Bay we took the scenic road towards Dorchester, then headed back up towards Bristol. My arse was numb after all tha...

Re: The man on the hill likes it !
Very nice too.
Was a great day out riding. Bit of a struggle to keep with with my mates Super Duke, but the Zed got all the attention whenever we stopped anywhere
