Some great progress Zed, loving especially the coil tacho brackets. Great attention to detail Nice solution for mounting the carbs, i have just picked up a set of gsx spaced vm33 for my project. So intens blatently cpy your solution

Thanks Zed my own Spectre 86 model has and yes shim over. I have recently collected another Spectre an 84 and this does not.

Do all of the KZ1100 Spectre`s come with the Bathtub type cylinder heads or did this occur from a specific engine number ?

Great progress your making it all look so easy Even though half of the build is fabricating the tooling The XJR arm looks really good in the frame, how far back is the shock mount from the pivot point ?
