Re: Z1000 MK II Regulator/Rectifier
Just an update on this one. After much investigation I've discovered that most rectifier/regulators that people claim are for the MKII will not actually fit. This is because on the MKII the unit sits behind the LH side panel inside a metal electrical box. The standard Kawasaki unit is approx 66mm d...

On my German z1000h I had to make a small ally plate to get the electrex one to fit
Do you have a photo showing how you did it?

Re: Dyna S for a Z1000 MKII - timing cylinders 2&3?
Hi Guys, I was thinking about upgrading the ignition on my MKII to Dyna S (I already run Dyna coils & Taylor leads). Has anyone fitted one to a MKII & can you tell me how you go about getting the timing correct for cylinders 2&3 because on a MKII there are only timing marks for cylinder...

Z1000 MK II Regulator/Rectifier
I've still not got around to changing the 40+ year old Regulator/Rectifier on my Z1000 MKII - part no. 21066-1008 Electrixworld £55 still appear to be out of stock - also it doesn't look to be plug & play. This one is listed on E-bay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VOLTAGE-REGULATOR-FOR-KAWASAKI-KZ5...

Re: Viton choke plunger seat replacements for Mikuni VM carbs and now any others with 8 mm diameter plunger heads.
Rob has just fitted a set of the new Viton seals to the choke plungers out of my Z1000 MKII carbs (Mikuni VM28SS)
I have to say that Rob has done a really nice neat job & with a very quick turnaround.
Very impressed & highly recommended!
