Puncture

This is what Ive been doing since February when i had a puncture and sat on the side of the road looking at it and seeing how rusty and dirty it had got after 11 years of use. Everything been re powder coated and plated and polished, Buzzard done the cylinder head fitted new cam chain etc and loads ...

I Will be there Friday Ralph may have a couple of mates in tow as well neither one of us will be on a Z as you know mine is still in a million bits and the other two aint got Zs but more the merrier :pist

Ltd 1000 tank for sale £60 plus postage.
Very rusty inside couple small dents .
No cap or fuel tap or fuel gauge sender unit.
Curious chrome or stainless steel strip stuck to centre of tank

Definitely not factory finish steve
As for polishing the cases etc make a decision
on that when the motor comes back from buzzzard

Out on my Z1000A2 couple Sundays ago suffered a puncture at 70mph but safely brought it to a halt. Sid.... you were bang on the mark
wires to the pick ups had gone brittle and hard
and when they got hot were separating.

My brothers quite clever at fixing fiddly things like that
soldered in new wire problem gone

Exactly what i was thinking mark with the coils
but with the tacho needle behaving like that
makes me wonder if its the cdi unit ?
