To answer my own question - YES

The Brown is a constant live feed - the Black is the “pulse” from the coil.

GPz1100 Tach wiring HELP

I have a GPz front end fitted to my GSX1100... IMG_0929.JPG IMG_0922.JPG The wires from the Tacho are Brown (live), Black (coil - pulse for revs) and blk/yellow (to speedo sensor. I have a mechanical speedo - so No sensor. Anyone know if the Tacho will work with just the Brown live & Black - coi...

Rob will be along in a bit - but until then, target gaps at top end 0.10 - 0.15mm.

Hopefully they're just settling in a bit :??

I have the correct shim tool & a wide selection of shims if that helps :?:
