Z1000 A1 to Z1R

Hi All haven’t posted on here for ages but I have what may be a stupid question but here goes. All my Z1 experience in restoring Zeds has been on early Z1/A/Bs But I now have a very nice Z1000a1 to play with. I’ve always fancied a Z1R and was wondering if I was fortunate enough to find all the parts...

Re: Zephyr 4 into 4s

Tried offering the Z1 original pipes up to the Zephyr but seem like they’re a mile different :down So that’s an avenue that’s closed for sure. Re: Zephyr 4 into 4s

Food for thought Garry.....I do like the green A4 paintwork and it would save me having to change the colour on the V5 :blah :blah

Re: Zephyr 4 into 4s

Lovely looking bike Gary I’m torn between Z1A brown and orange or Z1 green/yellow paint scheme for my project. :fou I did the 750 (great bike) and did look at the original Z1 4x4's which I believe are not that hard to adapt. In the end I ruled them out on cost and the original pipes were so good. Wi...

Anyway the target is something along these lines: 0BCE6C5F-E0F8-4A9D-BDAC-B67A4FA97616.jpeg Add the spoked wheels an...

Zephyr 4 into 4s

Hi all haven’t been on the forum for a while and after a bit of a gap in my Z1 restoration projects I’ve decided to do something a little different. I managed to acquire a rare spoked wheel model 98 Zephyr with low miles and fancy doing a Z1 theme makeover/ restore. There seems to be lots of Z1 styl...

Re: ZRX1200R Bits

Thanks to Pete, Nigel and Will for your help and advice I think I’ve managed to find all the bits I need except for one bit.... the headlight rim/mount.
Still available new for around £70 I think but if anyone has one lying around there’s beer tokens available. :beer

ZRX1200R Bits

Hi guys, looking for a headlight and Clocks for a 1200Rex R model, cash waiting.
Just bought full tank and body work in green with a view to possibly convert an S model to an R. Just need the above headlight (essential) and Clocks (optional) to get me away.
Cheers Dave
