Tourmax
Hi Guy's, Any opinions out there regarding Tourmax aftermarket brake piston rebuild kits? I've almost given up trying to source OEM. Usual places out of stock or not showing the correct part number available (43020-1035). I believe that Tourmax is Japanese quality supply? Zed Power and Zed Parts bot...

Re: Restoring the colour to faded plastic parts
I recently revived the black plastic inner and outer rear mudguards on my J. I TCut them first to remove the bloom then polished and buffed using the product in the link below. To say I was impressed with the end result is an understatement. Came out almost like new. I have same switches as you to d...

Re: Kawasaki Z1000 difference J2 and J3
The easiest way to tell is by the clocks. The J2 has 2 separate clocks and a fuel gauge in the middle. The J3 has an instrument pod like the Z1000R.Also the speedo drive on a J2 is electric, mecahnical with a cable on a J3 Spot on, also carb tops are round pressings and chrome plated, not squared of...

Seat lock
Hi Guys,
As above, seat/helmet lock to fit a Z1000J, B1/B2 1100 or 1000R. Not working or no key is fine, i only need the main body.
Cheers.

Brake fluid hose
Hi, Z1000J/GPz1100/Z1000R. Rear brake master cylinder to piston rubber hose (non pressurised). I need to replace mine as I have to disassemble the master cylinder from it to fit new spring. Can't pull it off, and don't want to cut it off as NLA from Kawasaki (part number 43059-1096). Anyone know it'...

Re: Needle rollers in swingarm Z1000J
Finally got them out, removed the cage and ground through the outer shells to split them. Even then they were difficult to get purchase on to tap free. Dremel to the rescue once again....
Thanks both for your advice.

Re: Needle rollers in swingarm Z1000J
Thanks Al,
No luck with mine, I'm going to grind through the cage with mounted points and hopefully split it.
Cheers for the advice.

Needle rollers in swingarm Z1000J
Hi Guys, Does anyone know any clever ways to remove the needle rollers from my swingarm? I don't want to thrash them out using the central spacer bar, but the spacer bar also stops you getting behind the bearings from opposite side of the arm too. Don't need to save rollers or seals as new ones goin...
