Re: backfiring
Have you checked the pick ups in the points housing ? My dyna packed in last year after 18 years of working without an issue .If there are signs of it over heating, the plastic cover expanding then it could be fried .Measure the voltage at the coils it should be at least 12v.

Re: Z900 A4 Clutch
Hi, Was the oil specific to motorcycles or the generally available Castrol semi for cars ?
Car oils contain friction modifiers which will cause clutch slip on a wet clutch .
Cheers Colin

Re: Z900 LTD best chain advice
You will struggle to get the rear sprocket off the shelf in the UK.
I got one earlier this year from Redline Cycles in the US.
If you email Jim he should still have one.
Not cheap though

Re: Dire problems with speedo on 1997 Police KZ1000p
Hi . No the nuts should not be moving the clamps should hold the Sleeved part of the nuts still. As mentioned earlier there should be a notch in the speedo drive which locates into the fork leg . Re: Dire problems with speedo on 1997 Police KZ1000p
It would appear your speedo drive casing isn't located correctly .I'm sure it should use the fork leg to hold it in place and the cable drive should come out parallel to the ground
