Went for a celebratory blat - forgot how nice they sound above 6k. P1020579.JPG Have decided to thin the her...

Ted,
just a thought but 10th June is also the date for this years Lincoln Bikefest: usually get a good turn out and might be worth a look after Willy Woods ?

Wolds Run on my Z900

Weather was stunning today, so took my Z900 on the Wolds Run to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre: it was great, the place and surrounding roads were packed with all sorts of biking nostalgia: old Brit stuff, loads of 70's 2 stokes, and a fair few modern bikes as well. Oddly though, I did no...

Nice bike and a great starting point you have got there: look forward to more pics.
Ive had a couple of Insurance companies provide 30 day temporary cover notes based on VIN / Frame nos: curious, but who are you currently using ?

Well its a Kwak and its green and it was cheap !

Few weeks ago I bought myself a bargain, its the last model ZX9R, probably not be to a lot of folks taste, but 2 owners, silly low miles, very tidy and totally unmarked: oh and it goes pretty well too. Re: Chrome Removal

Chrome Restoration Svcs at Coventry, are going to strip the chrome off a couple of old Z13 engine cases and then mirror poilsh them for me; I dont fancy de-chroming at home, think you need concentrated Hydrochloric (Muriatic) Acid and a big container.

Re: This years LIncs meets

Ted, at least the car park looked dry for you, when I got there about 11.00 the rain was just starting in earnest and the few hardy souls there, were taking shelter under the trees :( :rain .
On a positive note at least my Z900 ran perfectly after its prolonged winter slumber.

TT2018 launch video

I liked this - thought might be of interest https://www.iomtt.com/#video

Not sure why but the video needs dragging back to start - jumps to 1min 40 secs, so misses the best bit the start !
